This 3-day overview course is designed for participants and stakeholders in technical projects who want to understand systems engineering concepts without directly applying the tools themselves. Grounded in systems thinking, the course introduces the foundational principles and interdisciplinary methods used to engineer effective, life-cycle balanced solutions that align with stakeholder needs and values. Participants will gain a shared understanding of key systems engineering (SE) elements—such as requirements analysis, design, trade-off evaluation, integration, verification, and SE management—within the context of typical life-cycle phases.
