Mary “Mari” Wozny is a Configuration Management leader with over three decades of experience supporting complex product development, engineering change management, and global information systems. Most recently, she served as Manager of Configuration Management at Emerson Automation Solutions, where she led global CM practices supporting Flow Solutions and championed continuous improvement initiatives and implementing CM2 practices across engineering, manufacturing, and operations.

Now retired from Emerson, Mari is enjoying the freedom to travel the world while continuing to share her expertise through select consulting engagements and mentoring. During this time, she has also assisted a legal firm in implementing Trainual and developing structured Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to strengthen operational knowledge management.

Prior to Emerson, Mari held leadership roles at Oracle, SunMicrosystems, and StorageTek, where she led global teams across technical publications, instructional design, and configuration management supporting enterprise storage technologies. She drove strategic initiatives in globalization, translation management, accessibility compliance, and the development of manufacturing implementation guidelines to support scalable product delivery.

Earlier in her career at StorageTek, Mari directed both technical publications and configuration management teams responsible for engineering change control and product release processes across multiple tape automation programs. She began her career in data and configuration management with McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Company, where she developed foundational expertise in aerospace-grade configuration discipline.

Mari remains passionate about mentoring the next generation of CM professionals and advancing configuration management as a strategic discipline that enables product integrity, innovation, and organizational excellence.
