Sustainable Organizational Transformation
This course builds upon the foundation established in CM2 courses CM2-01 through CM2-07, which covered the 19 core business processes in the CM2 Model. For an organization to achieve world-class status, it must embrace organizational transformation that goes beyond current practices and looks toward a future mode of operation. This course focuses on four critical areas that are essential for facilitating that transformation: Program Management, Cybersecurity, Requirements Development, and Supply Chain Management. Structured as four half-day sessions, each topic is explored in depth to provide participants with the necessary skills and processes. Upon completion, students will have a thorough understanding of the key requirements in each area and how the CM2 Model empowers organizations to meet those requirements effectively.
Establish the skills and processes to facilitate lasting and scalable improvements through Program Management, Cyber Security, Requirements Development & Supply Chain Management. Students will be able to understand these key concepts and more:
- Ensure program and project initiatives align with corporate goals and objectives
- Define a compelling case for change that speaks to key stakeholders
- Managing and mitigating project risks while anticipating scope, cost and schedule creep
- Proactively balancing schedule, costs and scope at any lifecycle phase
- Ensuring clear communication at all levels
- Cyber security requirements and IP protocols
- Data security, control measures and permissions
- Assessing and ensuring data integrity
- Sources of truth and the importance of clear, concise and valid requirements flow down
- Supplier selection and relationship management
